Background
I graduated with a B.S. Degree from Kutztown University in Elementary/Early Childhood Education and a M.S. Degree from West Chester University in Administration. I have been working in the field of education for over 30 years.

Experience
I began my career developing and teaching a full-day kindergarten program that was licensed by the Department of Education. After a few years, I moved into an Assistant Director role and began learning the administrative side of operating a center. During this position, I supported teachers and worked with children ranging from infants through school-age. I eventually moved into an Executive Director position and had the opportunity to work with a supportive administrative team while leading the organization.  When the owner retired from the business, I decided to take a different path in my career. I then became a Technical Assistant Consultant and provided quality assurance under The Success by Six Project and Keystone STARS initiative for several years. I transitioned into my role as a Program Quality Assessor in 2014.

I strongly believe in all children receiving high quality care in early childhood and school-age programs. I enjoy spending time in classrooms, talking with teachers, and supporting them in their continuous quality improvement journey.

Fun Facts
I love spending time with my husband and four cats – Cashew, Fluffernut, Butternut, and Peanut. I enjoy feeding the birds, gardening, watching for hummingbirds, creating primitive hooked rugs, cruising to different destinations, visiting Wildwood, decorating my house (inside and outside), and walking.
