Background
I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education from Lock Haven University and a teaching certification in Pre-K to 3. I have been working in ECE for more than 25 years.
Experience
I joined the Pennsylvania Key in 2010 as an Infant Toddler Specialist and then moved to the PQA Team in 2016, first as an Assessor and then as a Supervisor in 2019. Before joining the Pennsylvania Key, I worked in a Head Start/Early Head Start program. I started my career as an Itinerant Teacher for Preschool Head Start, then moved to Early Head Start as an Early Head Start Home Visitor, then EHS Supervisor. In 2007, I shifted roles again and took on a new adventure, Head Start Programs and Pre-K Counts Manager. I have been a PQAS instructor since 2010.
Fun Facts
I am the mom of 2 teenage boys, Hunter and Mason, who love football, baseball, and basketball. My days are full of sporting activities year-round. We have two dogs, Bessie and Cali. I enjoy cruising, camping, and spending time with my family, and I am a huge Steelers fan. Fall is my favorite season. I love the smells and decorations of the season and watching football.
